We’re locally owned & operated by me… Mama Duck – also known as Sandra Vigen

  I’ve always joked about being a little OCD throughout my life & now I’m going to be able to offer my neatness to homeowners, moms, business owners, professionals & builders!   I have to give credit to my husband for the name Mama Ducks Cleaning Service.   We visited Disney World four years ago, and with my planning & self nominated leader of the trip the name was born.   If I walked a foot to the left, the other 5 would follow, and it must have been fate because I also had a real duck fly out of a pond & hit me on the head.   So was it destiny calling??  🙂

I left a very successful, 10+ professional career to launch what I know will become the best cleaning company in Fargo -Moorhead area.   As a busy mom myself I understand the feeling of not having enough time to spend with family & friends because of cleaning.   I decided that I needed to open my own business, use my “OCD” to benefit my clients & free up their valuable time to spend on more important things.

I’ve always lived by the philosophy of “Being a person of Excellence”   What that means is doing things not for recognition or what’s in it for me…. Do it because it’s the right thing!   As a mom myself, I try to remind my son everyday of this philosophy.   If you help enough people get what they need, you’ll be just fine.   To me this isn’t just about the money, it’s about helping people with their time, employing and providing good wages & benefits  to my employees, building a team of cleaning technicians who love their jobs & customers.   The team I’ve built shares my philosophy of not cutting corners, following a system, and the quality is the best EVERY TIME – no exceptions.
